Story: 

Kathirvelan (Udhayanidhi Stalin ) is a jovial guy who is more passive about girls and also a strict devotee of Lord Hanuma. Kathirvelan goes to his sister (Chaya Singh) materinal house to solve the problems between the couple. There he falls for Parvathi (Nayantara) and continues his love which was objected his father. Rest of the story is how Kathirvelan win his love and solve his sister’s problems … 

Performance: 

Udhayanidhi Stalin shined well in his second film. His performance in emotional scenes are good and comedy timing is very well used. 

Nayantara is simply sensious in her role and beautiful in sarees. She is the big asset of the film as Nayan is main attraction to watch on big screen. 

Santhanam, no words to say about his performance. Comedy timing with Udhayanidi is hilarious and his one-liners punched very well.

Others are adequate in their roles. 

Analysis 

Idhu kathirvelan Kadhal first half opens with Kathrivelan’s family drama with characters introduction with hero’s lust over girls. At some points the film seems to be dragged a bit even though it takes pace after. 

Second half is major as its take audience in to the story where complete family entertaining elements are to be enjoyed the most. Romance, family drama, emotions, sentiment and comedy is worthwatchable on big screens. SR Prabhakaran got the marks for this way of narration and direction. Climax is very well showcased.
