Story:
Anaamika
(Nayanthara), an NRI comes to Hyderabad
and lodges a complaint on his missing Husband Ajay Shastry (Harshavardhan
Rane). Saradhi (Vaibhav) who works in Police Department comes across Anaamika
and tries his best to deal the case of her missing husband.
The
police department though doesn’t takes this case seriously comes to know the
crucial point in the missing case of Anamika’s husband. What is the reason
behind Anamika’s husband missing? Does Anamika found her husband? How she
handles all hurdles are worth watching it on the big screen.
Performances:
Nayanthara as usual is perfect in her role as a lovable wife who
comes innocently to file a case on her missing husband.
Vaibhav;s role is decent and while Pasupathy is good as Khan
Harshavardhan Rane steals the show equal to Nayanthara role with all
twists at the final moment in the film
Technicalities:
Anaamika’s
music is the biggest plus point in the film. The way MM Keeravani handled this
film with nice BGM is worth. Cinematography is impressive. Sekhar Kammula’s
dialogues and script work is neat. The screenplay of the film should have been
better. Production Values by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Logline Productions
are too good. Editing is impressive.
Analysis:
Anaamika
is completely a director mark film by Sekhar Kammula. The way he handled the
script is too good. Though the film being a remake to Kahaani in Bollywood. He
presented this film with all necessary elements to impress telugu audiences.
Nayanthara’s
first heroine centric film which can be the best part in coming days to open
the doors of the actress’s another angle in her career.
The
film’s first half is handled with slow pace in narration and the second half
deserves the best in the modulations in the roles in which the director handled.
