Story:
Vasu (Vishal), a small financier
in the village called Bobbili leads happy life until he meets a local don
called Singanna ( Mukesh Tiwari). Divya (Shruthi Hassan) a kind hearted girl
who falls for Vasu who has his own ethics in believing in life.
Meanwhile, SP Sivaram Nayak
(Sathya Raj) is in search of Singanna. Singanna who comes to know about the cop
will try to kill him and Vasu’s family.
What is the dark past of Vasu? Why
Singanna tries to attack Vasu’s family? Who is SP Sivaram Nayak is rest of the
story.
Performances:
Vishal is once again back with
action packed performance. The dubbing for Vishal’s could have been taken with
much care.
Shruthi Hassan is only meant for
Glamor role and not impressive with her performance.
Sathya Raj is seen in powerful cop
role and did his best.
Radhika Sarath Kumar is ok and has
limited scenes through out the film.
Technically:
The film’s technical aspects
which are strongly recommended were not seen in much anticipation.
Cinematography by Priyan is just ok and managed with nice visuals. Music by
Yuvan Shankar Raja is impressive and gave his best for the song called Devatha.
The director Hari handled the script with safe and lots commercial elements to
attract the mass audience. Production Values by Vishal Film Factory banner are
rich.
Analysis:
Pooja is well transformed package
for the audience who comes into theaters with lot of expectations for its mass
theme. The director has just scored a decent narration and justified the film
with a war between a Good Man and Baddie. Rest of the story goes on a slow pace
with no twists and turns.
The film’s first half of the film
has all the elements to attract the audience, where as in the second half of
the film goes on loud scenes. The plus point in the film can be in the form of Vishal
and his solo action with lots of energy. Shruthi Hassan will flash her beauty
in the songs with massy appeal.
Though there is lot of drag in
the most of the scenes, the film can be a big note from the family audience too.
The same action and love scenes will be
going on predictable note.
Final Verdict:
Strictly for Mass Audience
RATING: 2.75/5
