Anil Ravipudi directed this action entertainer and the censor board have cleared its censor formalities by giving "A" certiificate to the film where Kalyanram will see as a cop. Shruthi Sodhi is playing as love interest for Kalyanram in the film. Sai Kumar, Asutosh Rana, MS Narayana, Shakalaka Shankar and Srinivas Reddy are seen in key roles. Music provided by Sai Karthik.

Story:

Kalyan Sinha (Kalyan Ram) a daring and corrupted police officer who becomes rich in a short time and encourages his department too in the same route. Sincere Police Officer DGP (Sai Kumar) who suspects Kalyan Sinha traces out and confirms that Kalyan Sinha is an active member in supporting GK (Ashutosh Rana) a bad politician.

One fine day Kalyan Sinha who comes to know about the illegal activities of GK's brother and be the accused in a crime case. Knowing all the illegal activities, Kalyan Sinha tries to stop GK.

Will Kalyan Sinha stop GK's illegal business? What makes him to form in corruption is rest of the story?

Performances:

Kalyan Ram is the biggest asset for the film's success. His role as Kalyan Sinha makes the best role in his career till date. His timing and acting skills will be in unique attitude for this film and the audience will welcome him with great applause. 

Shruthi Sodhi has nothing to perform except for Glamour. Her acting skills should be improved.

Sai Kumar justifies his role as sincere police officer.

Ashutosh Rana is impressive as Bad Politician

MS Narayana, Shakalaka Shankar and Srinivas Reddy scenes have come out well

Posani Krishna Murali gave his decent performances with entertainment

Technicalities:

Anil Ravipudi directional skills are perfectly worked with well time execution in the scenes and the introduction of the individual roles.

Editing by Thammiraju is impressive

Music by Sai Karthik is good and BGM is too good

Production Values by NTR Arts is rich

Analysis:

Overall, Pataas Movie is an all round performance by Kalyan Ram with his best till date. His powerful role and energetic performance is carried through out the film. The film’s first and second half is racy in the screenplay and the director played it safe with no boring scenes. 

Apart from the simple climax, the movie goes on action and entertainment mode where the audience can sit and enjoy eating the pop corn with no waste of their money. 

The onscreen chemistry between lead pair is also handled in smooth way with no vulgarity. MS Narayana carried his hilarious performance with well timed expressions.

Climax should have been in better way. The last 20 minutes of the film is left with no twists.
