It's finally the day for Sai Dharam Tej's first film Rey release which
has been postponed several times. Firstshowz presents you Rey Movie Review
this friday.
this friday.
Directed and produced by YVS Chowdary on Bommarillu Banner. Rey
film songs are being composed by Music Director Chakri (Late). The film has
Sayami Kher and Shraddha Das as the leading ladies.
Rey has as an special song on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan with his
theme called Pawanism. The film has 41 cuts and has been awarded with A
Certificate from the censor board members. Check below for Sai Dharam Tej's Rey
Movie Review.
Story:
Jenna (Shraddha Das), a famous Pop Star who wins two titles in
two consecutive years owns infinite craze throughout the world. Sandy another
competitor enters into the life of Jenna who is also rocking star and tough
competitor. Amrutha (Sayami Kher) is an upcoming pop star who is interested in
participating in several competitions.
Here comes the Hero Rock (Sai Dharam Tej) who has passion on
wooing girls rather than his profession comes across Amrutha and tries to
impress her with his rough attitude. All of a sudden, Sandy will be
murdered by unknown persons.
Why is Sandy killed? What is the story behind the clashes
between Jenny, Rock and Amrutha is worth watching it on the big screen.
Performances:
Sai Dharam
Tej has
justified his role as Rock with care free attitude and extraordinary dance
moves.
Sayami Kher needs to improve her
acting skills and her role is wasted with no interesting plot.
Shraddha
Das has
all in the film with her negative shades and ultra hot looks through out the
film.
Technicalities:
Director YVS Chowdary shoud be appreciated in selecting the
story line with no interesting elements in the whole script.
Production Values by Bommarillu Banner is OK. Music by Chakri
says it all with no special mention about songs and BGM and could have been
made little better.
Editing is not up to the expectations.
Analysis:
Rey is all about the Dance and the passion behind the each and
every individual lifes presented in the roles. Though the director has chosen
the script with simple story line, there is not much interesting scenes through
out the film.
Apart from Interval Block, the film has nothing in both halves.
The film is wasted and the characters are only seen with forcible performances.
Another impression for the film is the 11 Minutes song which is eye feast for
the fans and dance lovers.
Final
Verdict:
No "Rey"
RATING: 2/5
