Akhil as Surya Kavacham in Tamil version

Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie titled Akhil in Telugu will also be releasing in Tamil version, and the makers have titled the latter version as Surya Kavacham. C.Kalyan bagged the Tamil rights of the film. The Telugu version meanwhile is all set for a grand release on October 22.
The entire shooting schedules of Akhil have been wrapped up with the recent song shoot, where Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya joined Akhil in the song shoot. The audio composed by Thaman and Anup Rubens are rocking the charts, and the makers are planning to hold the platinum disc function soon in Vizag soon, which is expected to be graced by Pawan Kalyan.
Touted to be a commercial action entertainer with socio-fantasy touch, V.V.Vinayak is wielded the megaphone for the movie. Veligonda Srinivas provided the story and Kona Venkat penned the dialogues. Nithiin is producing the film on Sresht Movies banner.
