Varun Tej's Loafer is now Maa Amma Mahalakshmi

Mega Prince Varun Tej's new film in the direction of Puri Jagannadh was announced with the title Loafer. But the production team has changed the title of the movie to Maa Amma Mahalakshmi as per the reports.
The film’s story is based on mother-son sentiment, and so, the makers have thought ‘Maa Amma Mahalakshmi’ would be the apt one rather than Loafer. . Revathi is roped in to play Varun Tej’s mother role.
Bollywood actress Disha Patani is roped in as heroine and C.Kalyan is producing the film under the banner of Sri Subha Swetha Films. Major portions of shoot have been wrapped up in Goa, and the film is just left with a schedule followed by the post-production works.
Varun Tej’s second movie Kanche directed by Krish under First Frame Entertainments banner is slated for a release on November 6.
