Kumari 21F Movie Review

Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel starrer Kumari 21F is releasing today in huge number of screens. Despite being a medium-budget film, this Sukumar’s production venture managed to get good screen count.
The film has been recently censored and awarded with "A" Certificate, Kumari 21F is the biggest ever release foryoung hero Raj Tharun, who is making waves in Tollywood with decent hits. The movie is also being screened in special première shows in the US and Europe.
Palnati Surya Prathap of Current fame donned the director cap for Kumari 21F, and Sukumar produced it apart from providing story and screenplay. Ratnavelu is the director of photography and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

Storyline

Kumari (Hebah Patel) is a small time model by profession; She is bold and outspoken by nature. She meets Siddhu (Raj Tharun), who dreams of flying to Singapore for a job. Siddhu has a gang of friends, who do petty robberies for quick money. Kumari falls in love with Siddhu and the duo enjoy liberties. Though Siddhu likes her, he doubts her character for her boldness. He plans to test her love and loyalty, and what happens then is the rest of the story.

Artists Performances

Raj  Tharun once again impresses in the role, and he seen to be tailor made for this subject. He proves to be a fine performer in the role of a confused youngster.

Hebah Patel looks pretty. She plays the role of a bold, energetic girl aptly though at times goes overboard. Over all, she does a fine job.

Noel  is impressive and the gang of friends who have done brief roles did a decent job. Hema is neat in her role. Others filled the screens.

Technician’s Role

Kumari 21 F despite being low-budget film is technically rich film. Rathnavelu cinematography is classy and added the freshness to the film, and so are Devi Sri Prasad’s catchy tunes and the background score. Sukumar’s story will connect with youngsters and he excelled as writer. Palnati Surya Pratap has handled the matured subject quite well. Editing is neat and dialogues are way too bold.

Analysis

Kumari 21 F is a new age bold love story which is packed with youthful elements, besides an underlying message. The story is contemporary and both the lead actors delivered fine performances in the complicated characterizations. The film has some raunchy scenes on the leads, and heroines characterization and scenes go over the top at times.

The film is targeted at youth audiences and it strikes the chord with them, while the family audiences might not be appealed with the movie. The climax portions of the movie are emotional and Surya Pratap handled it well.

The first half has lot of youthful yet raunchy scenes and heavy doses of vulgar dialogues, while the second hour is predictable and emotional. Climax is dealt well. Kumari 21 F is a novel attempt and is expected to be supported by youth audiences.
