DSP’s father Satyamurthy passed away

Senior writer and Music composer Devi Sri Prasad's father Satyamurthy passed away this morning, suffering cardiac arrest in the wee hours of today at his residence in Chennai. He was 61.
Satyamurthy began his career as Lyricist and he has later turned story writer and provided scripts for over 90 films. He shot to fame with Devatha film and some of his noted works includes Khaidi No. 786, Pedarayudu, Satruvu, Police Lockup, Abhilasha, Chanti, Challenge etc. The funeral will take place this evening in Chennai.
