Artists Performances
Ram as a happy-go-lucky performs well, and his comic timing and dialogue
delivery are impressive. He is equally good in the second hour which is high on
emotional side. Nenu Sailaja is definitely one of best choices of script.
Keerthy Suresh is beautiful and elegant in expressing. She is
convincing in her role, and will have good scope in Tollywood provided she
chooses good scripts.
Satyaraj is justifying in significant role, Pradeep Rawat is hilarious in parts. Naresh is neat in his role; Rohini and Vijay Kumar are brief yet good while Dhanya Balakrishnan, Srimukhi Krishna Chaitanya are supportive.
Others are adequate.
Technicians Role
Music by Devi Sri Prasad is one
of the major assets and so is the BGM. Cinematography is classy and the songs
are all well shot.
Art direction is neat, while he
dialogues go with the flow of the film. Kishore Tirumala has done a good job as
director though the story is routine and presentation is simple yet taut.
Sreekar Prasad’s editing is crisp
in first half and could have been better in latter half.
Sravanthi Movies production values
are rich.
Analysis
Nenu Sailaja is a feel good
romantic entertainer with appealing writing and engaging screenplay which will
entertain both youth and family audiences. The film had the impressive casting,
and its tailor made role for Ram.
The first half of the film has
light-hearted breezy scenes which are quite entertaining, while the second is
high on emotions. The film doesn’t follow format or there are no spoofs of
comedy, but the entertainment go with the proceedings and is the narration is convincing.
The second half is slightly dips at paces and emotional drama takes the center
stage but director Kishore Tirumala manages to convey what he has to say in a
rather neat style.
Though the predictability and
slow-paced second half may bore you at few scenes, Nenu Sailaja is worth a
watch overall for its impressive dialogues, intelligent writing and narration
and refreshing casting.
Finally
Nenu Sailaja- Well-Written
Youthful Family Entertainer
