Rana Daggubati has commenced shooting for his Hindi-Telugu bilingual movie Ghazi, touted to be India's first submarine based war film, to be directed by debutant Sankalp Reddy.
Rana who is excited on signing up Ghazi tweeted, “GHAZI India's first submarine based war film!! Based on true incidents!! Another war film!! But this time underwater.”
The film’s story is based on the real incidents of the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan submarine during the Indo-Pak 1971 war, based on the book Blue Fish. Major portions of Ghazi will be shot in a submarine set erected in Hyderabad.
Casting Tapsee Pannu as lead lady, Ghazi is being produced by PVP Prasad under PVP Cinemas banner.
