Rahul Dev has been one of the finest and most versatile actors in Indian cinema for many years. Be it portraying the role of a protagonist or antagonist, he certainly knows his craft. His presence on screen is reassuring and he's one of the very few actors who have simultaneously managed to create a great body of work in Hindi as well as other regional industries like Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi & Kannada. He has a unique fan following base who extend him their support unflinchingly because of his unique credibility as an artiste. In the recently released series 'Hunter', which featured on Amazon MiniTV, he played the role of a Haryanvi police offer called 'Hooda'. His portrayal of the character received great appreciation from critics & audiences alike. In fact the dialogue delivery in his baritone was one of the key factors contributing to the success of 'Hunter'. So much so that his character was equally appreciated to the main lead Suniel Shetty's. He was also recently seen in the successful feature film '1920: Horrors Of The Heart' produced by Vikram Bhatt, where his character and acting was widely appreciated.
Well, from one project to the other, Rahul is set to entertain his fans once again in the role of an officer. This time however, it's different and for the better. In Prime Video's upcoming project 'Adhura', Rahul Dev portrays the part of a strong and macho CBI officer leading the investigation. He said, "School days are an essential part of growing up. A heady mix of friends, fun times, sports, achademics & homework! An interesting bagful of experiences. Childhood, teenage & youth offer some of the finest chapters of life. Probably the best days for anyone attaining adulthood.
Here in Adhura, my character begins his investigation inside the school premises. It does remind you about your own school days and one tends to feel nostalgic. I focused to essay my part well and contribute to the project in totality. I am hoping the audience will like 'Adhura' once it starts streaming."
