Happy that Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is my 50th film, I am thoroughly enjoying this journey: Actress Anjali
The gorgeous actress Anjali has created sensation with Geethanjali, the film became a trendsetter and now she's grabbing everyone's attention with "Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi." Directed by Shiva Thurlapati and produced by Kona Venkat under Kona Films Corporation in association with MVV Cinemas, this marks Anjali's 50th film, making it extra special for her. A big-budget horror-comedy film 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi is set to release on April 11. Anjali interacted with media ahead of the film's release.
- All three upcoming movies start with the letter G. The first one to release will be 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi'. Additionally, 'Game Changer' and 'Gangs of Godavari' are also in the pipeline. However, each film belongs to a different genre.
- We commenced the filming of 'Game Changer' first, but it got delayed. 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi' began production after 'Gangs of Godavari', yet it will hit the screens sooner. My roles in all three films are distinct.
- Kona Venkat conceived the idea for 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi' four years ago. However, due to scheduling conflicts, we couldn't proceed at that time. The pandemic also posed challenges. But now, it feels like the perfect time for a sequel.
In 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi', being a sequel, we couldn't alter the original characters. Hence, we introduced new characters into the storyline. Actors like Ali, Sunil, and Satya have joined the cast. The sequel picks up from where the first part ended, ensuring it's comprehensible even for those who haven't watched the original.
- Geethanjali is directed by a debut director. Now, the same debut director is helming the sequel. Regarding the film Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, director Shiva Thurlapati garu, being a choreographer, possesses a keen understanding of shot division. Hence, directing isn't challenging for him. However, since it's a demanding sequel, I believe he has given his 100 percent.
- I'm opting for diverse roles in movies, exploring territories I haven't ventured into before. I even did action in the climax. If acting becomes routine, I lose interest. Hence, I strive to bring freshness to my roles.
- Everyone, including Srinivas Reddy and Satyam Rajesh, has impeccable comedy timing. Working with Sunil in this film has been a delight. Audiences can witness vintage Sunil. Satya garu remains the same. Together, we aimed to tickle the audience's funny bone.
- Geethanjali struck a balance between horror and comedy, which resonated well with the audience upon its release. Now, with Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, we maintain the same movie flavor, leveraging new technology to enhance the experience.
- I have a fondness for the Ugadi festival. Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi, presenting a blend of emotions, including horror and comedy, to the audience. Personally, I enjoy watching horror and murder mystery movies.
- It's a moment of pride for me to have Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi as my 50th film. It feels like a responsibility when everyone remembers this milestone. I'm grateful for the journey I've had in the industry.
