Alankrita Sahai creates history, honoured as judge of the first-ever 'Miss Universe Jammu & Kashmir' beauty pageant

Alankrita Sahai has always been a hustler and a go-getter in the true sense of the term. Her indomitable spirit powered by her ability to achieve excellence by tapping her stupendous potential has helped her achieve tremendous results for herself and the rest is history. From starting off as a model and beauty pageant expert all over the country to eventually cementing her niche in the Indian entertainment industry as an actress, Alankrita Sahai has certainly come a long way forward in her career. From music videos to OTT projects and films, she's been putting her best foot forward to stamp her authority and we love it. She's recently fresh from the success of her recent film 'Tipppsy' and well, no wonder, the tides are in her favour right now. 

While Jammu & Kashmir as a region is known to have produced some of the most wonderful beauties in the country, the place has always unfortunately lagged behind when it comes to empowering young women with beauty and helping them conquer their fears with a purpose. Well, given such a social-political environment, it is certainly a matter of history that this beautiful state had their inaugural 'Miss Universe' beauty pageant. And well, what when the first season happens, who truly is a judge better than Alankrita Sahai to guide and empower those stunning beauties? Yes, that's right. Alankrita Sahai felt like being on cloud nine when she was invited and honoured as the judge of the inaugural 'Miss Universe - Jammu & Kashmir' beauty pageant that was held in the state and it truly was a monumental occasion for the region.

Regarding her being the judge of the first season, Alankrita shares and we quote,

"As an individual who's always believed in positivity and women empowerment in the right direction, I couldn't have been happier. It's my honour and privilege to be here judging the potential of these wonderful beauties from this part of the globe. I truly believe that if the right potential can be tapped, these women have the wings to fly and conquer the globe and as a judge and mentor, my key responsibility has been to give wings to those beautiful dreams and ask them to fly without worrying too much about the environment. Due to reasons beyond control, Jammu and Kashmir, as a state has primarily been in the news for other reasons and hence, if my presence in such a beautiful initiative propels these young women towards empowerment and helps them achieve their ambitions, there's nothing really better than that. I am happy and extremely glad to have been here doing this alongside someone equally wonderful like Sana Dua. More power to all these girls and to every other girl who dreams."

Well, absolutely brilliant words from Alankrita Sahai and well, genuinely, there couldn't have been a better personality apart from her to be the judge for this event.
