Lakshmi Manchu shares her ordeal of dealing with an isolated drug allergy, shares important pointers for fans regarding safety and precaution

Lakshmi Manchu is one of the finest and most wonderful performing artistes in the Indian entertainment industry and ever since the time she moved to India after learning her craft and working in Hollywood, she has certainly been on top of her game professionally. With a spree of successful movies one after the other, Lakshmi Manchu cemented her position in an industry which is known for cut-throat competition. Her focus has always been on quality ahead of quantity and no wonder, the filmography speaks for itself. Even offscreen, as an individual, she's always been relatable because of her raw personality. She always believes in keeping it real and organic and no wonder, she's immensely loved. She's always been honest, transparent and candid with her fans and has never believed in conforming to unrealistic beauty standards just because she's a public figure. 

While more often than not, Lakshmi Manchu is in the news for her work, very recently, we heard that she went through a frightening experience of an isolated drug allergy that left her shaken. The good thing however was that she got a swift response from her doctor friend and now, she's on her road to recovery. 

Regarding what she went through and the importance of taking proactive steps to understand one's body, Lakshmi Manchu said and we quote,

"Well, this thing is more common than we think it is and the very first thing to ensure is to take it as a normal treatment. There are various common symptoms like hives, rash or fever and if not treated within time, they can also cause serious reactions. The idea is to be proactive and get consulted and treated by experts without leaving things in your own hand and trying out your luck. 

As individuals, it is very important to understand what suits your body and what doesn't to avoid such situations that might cause panic. Allergy can cause death if not treated on time. This is not a small issue. Many people have allergies for nuts, shellfish, and different forms of foods. It is so important to understand all of these so you can avoid fatal accidents. That's why, I strongly feel every individual must get their allergy test done and it can then confirm and rule out allergies for you thereby subsequently reducing adverse reactions and eventually avoid medications and other processes. Also, you must have a trusted doctor who under no circumstances will misguide you. 

That is so very important. I don't think we as a country talk much about allergy tests but a simple test can help you understand your body better and avoid a lot of other complicated things for the future. You know what your strengths and weaknesses are and what is the kind of lifestyle that you need to follow for a healthier living. By God's grace, my doctor who's a dear friend of mine was swift and prompt and now I am on my road to recovery. With the love and blessings of fans, I will be completely fine soonest."
