Recently, the film "Nenu - Keerthana" has been making headlines and garnering significant attention, standing tall among big-budget films. Written, directed, and acted by Chimata Ramesh Babu, this film has finally hit the screens today (August 30). Let’s explore whether the movie lives up to its tagline of "Non-Stop Entertainer" and "Paisa Vasool Film"!

Story

"Nenu - Keerthana" revolves around the story of a young man named Johnny, who stands against injustice happening before his eyes and risks his life to help those in need. The film traces how Johnny’s life takes a turn after the entry of a girl named Keerthana and how he uses a special power he receives, not for personal gain, but for the welfare of society. As promoted, the film indeed contains all kinds of emotions. The blend of love, sentiment, action, romance, family drama, comedy, revenge, and horror is commendable. However, at times, one may wonder if it was necessary to mix so many genres in a small film. Nevertheless, the story keeps you engaged as it unfolds.

Performances of Artists:

Among the actors, Ramesh Babu, the hero, deserves special mention.

With flawless acting that captivates from start to finish, Ramesh Babu also excelled in fights and dances.

Especially considering this is his debut film, he acted so naturally that it’s hard to believe. However, being the writer and director himself, Ramesh Babu wrote dialogues that would resonate powerfully with bigger stars. Some may feel same with the action blocks as well.

As for Vijay Rangaraju and Jeeva, their villainy needs no special mention – they were outstanding and kept the audience on edge.

Jabardasth Apparao’s comedy worked well. Despite being newcomers, the heroines Rishitha and Meghana performed well within the scope of their roles.

Renu Priya’s item song is appealing. All the other actors performed naturally without any exaggeration.

Technical Crew’s Performance:

As a director, Ramesh Babu scored good marks, but as a writer, one feels he could have paid more attention. Some dialogues feel overly heavy. Also, as mentioned earlier, one wonders if it was necessary to incorporate all genres into a single film. Although the editing was sharp, reducing the runtime a bit to avoid any lag would have been better. Considering the budget constraints, the camera work was quite good. M.L. Raja’s songs, especially the background music, were very impressive. The lead cast's performances, the songs shot in Kullu Manali, and the action sequences are the main highlights of this film!

In Conclusion:

Despite some minor flaws, "Nenu - Keerthana" overall provides good entertainment without causing any boredom.

RATING: 3/5
