Tanuj Virwani receives a tremendous amount of love and compliments from fans for his 'cop avatar' in Murshid, feel super excited for the release on 30th August

Tanuj Virwani is one of the finest and most admired actors in the country. Irrespective of the medium where he's seen, he always makes an impact with his stellar performance and that's what makes him so special. As an actor, he has always believed in moving away from his comfort zone to do the unthinkable and without any iota of doubt, his vast body of work also reflects the same school of thought. Things changed drastically for the dynamic actor after 'Inside Edge' and ever since then, there's been no looking back. With every role that he undertakes, he tries to do something different and that certainly hasn't gone unnoticed by his audience.

To talk about his immediate next project 'Murshid' on ZEE5, Tanuj is seen slaying the role of a cop and we can't wait to see him in action alongside the likes of Kay Kay Menon and Zakir Hussain. Not just his avatar as a cop because of his uniform, everything, right from his rugged and tough look to the moustache, his body language and expressions have been winning hearts and no wonder, fans feel that he certainly fits the bill perfectly to play a cop on-screen. Regarding all the love and appreciation that he has been receiving for his look,

"For me, each and every appreciation coming from fans and critics is heartwarming and I love every bit of it. The very purpose of you choosing to be an actor professionally is because you want to play different characters and be a part of different worlds. So, if I keep looking the same way in all my projects, it doesn't personally make much sense to me. How I acted and did justice to the role is something people figure out and understand once the project has been released. But prior to the release, whenever I get compliments for my looks, I feel the job is kind of halfway done. I am thrilled and I can't wait for it to be released on the 30th so that everyone can see it and share their feedback. Super excited and thanks to everyone for all the love."
