Actress Gugni Gill Panaich visits Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) in Uttar Pradesh, supports the cause of education for all girls!

Actress Gugni Gill Panaich is an actress, producer and entrepreneur who's loved and respected by everyone immensely for her work. As an artiste, she's always brought value to the table with her work on-screen and well, what makes her even more appealing off-screen is her beautiful and humble nature off-screen that always manages to strike a chord with the audience. Despite her hectic and worked up schedule, Gugni always manages to take time out for her humanitarian activities and no wonder, she continues to be a force to reckon with and a serious source of inspiration for women who are always working towards empowering other women. She's extremely progressive and innovative with her mindset and that certainly reflects in her way of life and the causes that she supports.

Talking about causes, Gugni has always believed that just like men, the society should always be equal when it comes to approaching women and their ambition regarding education. Time and again, she's been a part of several causes and has led from the front when it comes to supporting education for girls and this time as well, she's done the same. Yes, that's right.

Gugni visited the Pardada Pardadi Educational Society (PPES) where she actively participated in various activities, engaging with the girls in STEM and physics labs, and sports alongside many other activities. Her visit was a source of inspiration, motivating the students to dream fearlessly and pursue their aspirations with confidence. To tell you all a little more about PPES, it was founded in 2000 by Virendra Sam Singh, and it Pardadi began its journey with just 31 girls in its inaugural batch. Today, PPES stands as a beacon of hope and education, empowering over 3,500 girls from 120+ villages in the Anupshahr region of Bulandshahr district, Western Uttar Pradesh.

Currently, 186 PPES alumnae are employed across various sectors nationwide, and 215 girls are pursuing higher education. Beyond education, PPES drives change through its Women Empowerment Wing, which works with approximately with 11,000 women across three blocks in Bulandshahr. These women are part of over 1,000 Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The initiative aims to enhance the social and economic status of women and girls in the region. Their key focus areas are education, health and hygiene, women's empowerment and economic empowerment.

Regarding her visit, Gugni shares and we quote,

"I have always believed that irrespective of gender and preferences, everyone should have equal rights towards education and making their lives better. We don't really have control regarding how and where we are born but we are certainly in control of what we do with our lives after that. The great Nelson Mandela says that 'Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world' and I totally agree with it. As an empowered woman, I feel it is my responsibility to use my position of power in order to empower other women and make our world a better place. That is my way of giving it back to society and the universe. I am extremely happy with my visit here and I really hope the sanctity of the cause remains always. I will always keep doing my bit. I hope others are doing their humble bit too."

Well, kudos to Gugni for such positive words and no wonder she deserves all the appreciation for the wonderful work that she's doing. On the work front, the actress has some interesting work developments happening at her end, the official announcements of which will take place soon as per the ideal timelines. Stay tuned for more updates.
