Pan India Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which wreaked havoc at the box office, completed one year today. The film, which released last year on December 22nd, captivated the masses and shattered box office records.

Boasting a grand canvas, high-octane action, a gripping storyline, and stellar performances from an incredible cast, the film redefined the action-drama genre in a new way. Prabhas' mass appeal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's performance made this one a cult action film.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire trended for over 300 days on one of the biggest OTT platforms. Its enduring success highlights the audience's love and its dominance in the OTT space long after release. The film's re-release on Prabhas' birthday garnered an incredible response once again.

The film leaves the masses with a surprise that sets the stage right for the sequel Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, The shooting for the second installment will begin soon. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films, the movie was directed by the sensational Prashanth Neel.
