Prashanth Karthi Winning Appreciation For His Performance As Venkat In Pothugadda

Prashanth Karthi, who is gaining attention for his role as Venkat in the recently released Pothugadda, shares his experience with the movie and the positive response his character is receiving.

The film Pothugadda is produced under the 24 Cinema Street banner by Anupama Chandra Koduri and Dr. G. Sharath Chandra Reddy, featuring a cast including Prithvi Dandamudi, Vismaya Sri, Prashanth Karthi, Shatru, and Naren in key roles. Directed by Raksha Veeram, the film recently premiered on ETVWin and is receiving a great response. Prashanth Karthi, who plays a character with different shades, expressed his happiness over the appreciation his role is receiving.

"I got the opportunity to work on this film through cameraman Rahul. For the role, I was asked to have a thick beard and long hair, so I tried that look. However, due to some reasons, I had to remove the hair midway. Just when I thought I had lost the offer, I received a call from director Raksha. After seeing my original look, he liked it and decided to go with it. So, my appearance in the film feels very natural."

"My role in Pothugadda is quite different. The shades of my character are visible in both the beginning and the ending of the film. I really liked this variation, which is why I immediately said yes to the project. The response to my character has been positive. Every character has great importance in the story, and especially the variation and acting in my role have been praised by many. It feels great to receive compliments from people like Chandra Siddharth and Chandrashekar Yeleti."

"The entire shooting of Pothugadda took place at night, and we shot it during the winter season. Despite the cold, the team had no discomfort, as our producer Anupama and director Raksha took great care to ensure everything went smoothly."

"The entire team worked like a family, enjoying the shoot together. Our producer made sure that the artists and technicians had everything they needed without any shortage. Thanks to her support, the film has turned out so well. The music by Shravan Bhardwaj and the background score by Marcus are captivating the audience."

"There is a beautiful love story in Pothugadda. The film includes action, emotions, and many other elements. Though the plot revolves around politics, it also beautifully portrays a love story. The film is engaging and will entertain everyone without any dull moments."

"I'm working on an action-packed film set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema. I’ll reveal more details soon. I also have several other projects in the discussion stage."
